Green Silkies and Comments from the Men who Love and Wear Them.

A recurring rant of mine concerns not only the lack of easily available nylon tricot available to those of us who know how to enjoy it, but the virtual lack of any introduction opportunities to the disadvantaged nylon tricot virgin.  The single only opportunity I am aware of that would introduce a guy into wearing nylon tricot is ironically the Mormon Church.  After becoming an endowed member who has gone through the temple ceremony and thereby allowed to wear a sacred garment, one of the choices of fabrics is a nylon tricot garment in either a 2 piece (with an annoying partial cotton crotch) or the amazing one piece ("onesie") that not only allows for "rear entry" but has 2 layers of a tall nylon crotch that will slide your erection into a full, sticky ejaculation--the ultimate purpose and use of silky nylon tricot.  In spite of my nylon tricot advocacy, the practicality of joining the Mormon Church just to get access to nylon garments is not recommended!  However, this ceremony ultimately does introduce at least the possibility of choosing nylon tricot to be worn 24/7 for the rest of your life and ultimately buried in it.

Below is an article that outlines the banning of the one of the most popular PT shorts (and ultimately cult status still being enjoyed), the Green Silky or also known as Ranger Panties when in black.  I wonder how the initial decision was made to issue mandatory nylon tricot shorts to thousands of military members.  On one level, they were a practical clothing option, fast drying, etc., etc.  The fact that they are still being revered and worn years after they were stopped being issued, I suspect, has more to do with the silkiness of the nylon tricot and how good it feels than anything to do with practical fast drying.  You sill see many comments (I only selected a small number of them) of what mostly straight guys, who are normally forced to wear men's cotton underwear, have to say about being able to wear their nylon tricot shorts out in public and for underwear.

A third long gone nylon tricot introduction as been gone for almost 40 years is the 100% nylon tricot Speedo, Dolfin, Ocean Champion, Arena, Gulbenkian, Kiefer, and another number of suppliers of swim wear.  No more swim coaches handing out silky nylon suits to boys who have just hung up their white cotton briefs in their lockers and slipping in to their first exposure to nylon tricot.  In earlier days, those suits were actually 2 suits (one inside the other) and designed to slide over each other.  I always surmise that none of those suits ever spent the weekend in the swim team locker room but were "borrowed" for the weekend and used for more pleasurable pursuits.
Even men's nylon tricot underwear disappeared from Sears, Penny's and other common retailers as have most women's nylon panties.  The remaining Vanity Fair and maybe a few others with cotton lined crotches are of far lower quality and silkiness.

An entire generation of boys and men has now been raised without ever having had an opportunity to experience 100% nylon tricot through sports, the military, a men's department or even their's sister's panty drawer.  It is out there, it is available, but you'd better know what you are buying or make sure you can return it when the nylon turns out to be mixed with lycra, has a cotton covered crotch or is so completely shiny and sleazy as to barely slide at all.  Sellers are not always experienced or knowledgeable, but remember you are buying something that is something that should include the tactile, hopefully sexually stimulating look and feel, and even longevity which includes some things that can still get me off even though they are older than I am!

They appear to be out of all sixes except 2XL.  I am not endorsing these and I have not ordered any yet.

I have to admit to a big mistake.   With the major resurgence (or at least the major exposure of the continued use of nylon tricot green silkies and Range panties), there have been RWB shorts in many of these photos.  They appeared to be the new Supplex or Tactel form of nylon (much closer to cotton in feel and look) and I didn't look any closer at them.  It turns out that someone is making a nylon version of these shorts--they're not made by Soffee who makes the former military issued shorts.  I would appreciate any reviews from anyone who buys a pair (or a dozen as some raves indicate).  If a manufacturer wants to really take over the marketplace, reverse the current liner / panty/ brief so that it slides around underneath the outer short.    With the hundreds of silkies I have experienced (on my own or in stores), 99% of them are made to be non-sliding--some exceptions like Hind, Head and a few others for short periods of time.

Lots more comments below.....

Sure hope this group knows how to enjoy their silkies--experimenting is encouraged as long as the end results are the same

Off to a good start....why not have a silkies party?

No, they don't have to be tight.  More room equals more fun.

(Boston Silkies March 2017)   I probably should have broken this photo up into smaller sections that could be blown up, but you should be able to tell the silkies from the non--if you can't you shouldn't be on this site.

Yes, one for every day of the week is off to a good start!  Don't forget the nights, too. Interesting that none of them ever mention the word "nylon" and wouldn't know "nylon tricot" at all.  However, they all seem to be in love with them--and most of us will know why.

Can't beat ginger, beef and feeling his silky nylon tricot shorts.   Wonder how many loads they've seen?  Sure would like to add my own....preferably while he is still wearing his.

Tactel, tactel, tactel, and nylon tricot.  Not sure if he has carefully tucked his shorts into his briefs or maybe removed them?  Anyway, one guy gets it.

Good to see he wears them as underwear, not sure why they aren't fulfilling that purpose or something more sexual?

GOT NYLON?  Imagine the amount of sliding that could be done wearing all that nylon--those shirts look incredible!

Slightly sheer, probably sweaty green silkies.  They really retain the scent.

Someone made a version of flag shorts out of polyester in the 80's or 90's as I recall.  They were ok, but the polyester wasn't as silky as nylon.  These look pretty good!  They also have a white (I assume nylon) liner.  You wouldn't want your boys in anything else, would you?

All purpose 100% nylon tricot.  Some purposes are better than others.....
Long ago repeat but really looks like he has removed the outer shorts and is just wearing his nylon tricot liner / brief / panty--whichever you prefer.  You cock doesn't care what you call it.

Men doin' everything in nylon tricot said...

I'm guessing they're made in China or Thailand so it may take awhile to restock. True, at $30, that is more than double the cost of a regular Soffee brand silkie, but some of us have paid lots more and gotten lots less in our nylon tricot purchases. One of the problems of buying sight unseen. I'd say the bulk of the rave reviews seem to be legitimate and are all supposedly "verified buyers." Most nylon freaks (proud to be one) would have used the words "nylon" or "nylon tricot" and yet none of these reviewers did. People tend to avoid the word "nylon" and will often substitute "silky material," "feels silky", "slinky," or even "polyester," than say "that word." Is it really that denigrated? The cotton lobby sure did a number on them.

I don't mind buying some nylon gear that is a little too big sometimes since I can either wear other nylon under it, or on top of other nylon when using it separately to silk off into. They have said these are cut smaller so buying a size larger would be advisable, but something about 2XL that I can't see in person is a little scary.
