Flag "Silkies" Review (more blog posts to come soon)

This is an unsolicited opinionated review of these flag shorts that I received recently from the AAFNATION.COM  company.  They frequently appear in many of the silkies marches and have rave reviews that rival those of the green silkies and Ranger Panties.  They look good and I really wanted them to be silky silkies....but they are not.

They are made in America (yay), they are very well made, and they are actually comfortable and your manhood is safely stored inside without risk of further display.

However, they are not 100% nylon tricot.  They are polyester, which can be almost equally silky, but these are not.  Nor are they "compatible" with other nylon in terms of sliding, silking, or generally getting off in them.  They are a sort of jersey fabric which drapes kind of like nylon tricot, smooth but not silky in the way that nylon tricot is.  There is also a slight stretch component which is remindful of lycra, but I think it's more the weave of the fabric than actually containing any lycra as they are labelled as being 100% polyester.  The inner white liner is actually almost the same size of the outer shorts so they are not binding in any way and, surprisingly, the liner doesn't show when you wear them.

More bad news, they cost $29.95 plus shipping which is double the cost of the average nylon tricot Soffee silky in any color.  2 nylon tricot or 1 polyester jersey, your choice.  I guess it's like every small, bikini cut swimsuit being called a "Speedo" now when there was a time when most of them were actual Speedos and they were all 100% nylon tricot.  So calling these smaller, jogging type shorts "silkies" is kind of the same thing.  They aren't silkies or even silky, but are often worn with other guys wearing the real 100% nylon tricot ones so it's just me being a nylon diehard to make the distinction.

A question I had, but never asked anyone, has been answered.  Given that it's been close to a decade (maybe more) since the military abolished any form of nylon tricot silkies for PT (their original use), it's interesting to see so many younger vets wearing them in these silkies marches to bring awareness to suicide, PTSD and other issues.  However, one of the marches included a pair of nylon tricot Soffee silkies with their registration fee.  So picking up your march packet would include a pair of 100 % nylon shorts inside.  I'm sure for many of these black cotton boxer brief wearing military guys, slipping into their shorts was their manhood's first exposure to wearing silky nylon tricot.  Their girl friends don't wear it, their mother's didn't wear it, their swim team didn't wear it, so this would be their first experience sliding that silky nylon up their legs into place.  Guaranteed within 10 seconds they are feeling their manhood through the silky nylon and who knows the good things that happened next?  Unfortunately not all of their experiences must have been good (maybe "too" good?) because these are also the group of people showing their scratchy cotton boxer briefs showing under their nylon green silkies during the march.  Maybe just fear of public boners with their manhood bouncing around inside?

Ok, more men in nylon coming soon.....
