I'm going to finish off this collection of vintage nylon suits--Ocean Champions, Dolfins, and others. I guess I've kind of said all that I can say about them.....

| The nylon suits continued to get smaller, but they stayed silky to the end before lycra was added in the mid 70's and slowly grew--not so much in popularity as in availability. They phased out the nylon suits that lasted almost forever in favor of the "faster" lycra suits that wore out 5 times faster. The only thing that was fast about them is how much faster Speedo made more money. |

| Every time I see one of these nylon Speedo palm print suits I think of this guy named Steve I met helping to set up a function. I could see through his white shorts that he was wearing one of these nylon palm suits under them. I eventually started talking to him about his suit and wearing hem for underwear like I did.
